These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Family Scam Shield website, emails, SMS alerts, and any related services (collectively, the “Service”).
By subscribing to, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service.
The Service is intended only for individuals who:
are residents of the United States, and
are at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract.
By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements and that you will use the Service for your own personal use or to assist family members or loved ones, and not for resale, redistribution, or provision of a competing service.
Family Scam Shield is offered on a recurring subscription basis, with plan options (including any free‑trial offers) described on our pricing page at the time you sign up.
By starting a subscription, you authorize us and our third‑party payment processor to charge your selected payment method on a recurring basis at the rate shown at sign‑up, until you cancel.
Your billing cycle and renewal dates are shown at checkout or in your account or confirmation email.
Prices, plans, and features may change from time to time. Any change to your recurring subscription fee will apply only to future billing periods, and we will provide advance notice (normally at least 30 days) as required by applicable law.
We use third‑party payment processors to collect and process payments. We do not store full payment‑card numbers on our systems.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account (if available) or by emailing info@familyscamshield.com.
Cancellation is effective at the end of your current billing period. You will continue to have access to the Service until that date.
For first‑time subscribers, we offer a 30‑day money‑back guarantee on the first paid subscription term. If you are not satisfied within the first 30 days after your first payment, contact us at info@familyscamshield.com and we will refund that payment.
Except for this initial 30‑day money‑back guarantee or where required by applicable law, all charges are non‑refundable.
If a free trial is offered, the length of the trial and the applicable paid plan and rate will be clearly disclosed at sign‑up. Unless you cancel before the end of the trial, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid plan and your payment method will be charged.

the content, availability, or security of those third‑party services; or
any loss or damage arising from your use of them.
Your use of any third‑party service is subject to that service’s own terms and policies. We encourage you to review those terms and privacy policies.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON‑INFRINGEMENT, OR ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, OR COMPLETENESS OF THE CONTENT.
Without limiting the foregoing, Family Scam Shield does not warrant that:
the Service will identify or describe every active scam, fraud scheme, or AI‑related threat;
the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error‑free; or
following the information or suggestions provided by the Service will prevent any particular scam, fraud, or financial loss.
You are responsible for your own decisions and for seeking professional advice where appropriate.
